Superintendent

Requirements

• Experience leading commercial construction projects (5+ years)
• Experience with building inspection process and procedures
• Experience reviewing construction documents (submittals, plans, specifications, etc.)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word & Excel
• OSHA-10 certification (expected to pursue OSHA-30 certification)

Daily Duties

• Enforce project quality control
• Ensure site safety if followed
• Coordinate subcontractors, site deliveries, and project inspections
• Create daily activity reports
• Create weekly lookahead schedules

Description

In this role you will manage onsite project laborers and subcontractors to complete projects safely and within the prescribed time. This position will monitor all work before, during, and after execution to manage quality control.  A superintendent will be expected to analyze and interpret all construction documents and make decisions to resolve project issues. This position consists of typical Monday-Friday working hours but will periodically require weekend or after-hours work depending on the project and circumstances.
